Additional 2026/27 flu vaccination programme resources

The following publications are currently available to support regions and providers with the upcoming flu programme for Autumn / Winter 2026/27:

1. The updated Information for healthcare professionals for the flu programme 2026/2027 is now live at the following url:

This product is produced by UKHSA each season to support training for the flu immunisation programme ahead of the coming season, 2026 to 2027.

2. The national flu immunisation programme for 2026 to 2027 slide set.

• The national flu immunisation programme for 2026 to 2027 slide set is available to download. Flu immunisation training slides are currently published on the UKHSA ‘Find a Public Health Resource website’. To access the slides, you need to go to the top link at:

https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/annual-flu-programme#2026-to-2027-flu-season 

• The slides will also be published on the .gov.uk website in due course and will appear under the 2026 to 2027 annual flu collection  

3. Flu immunisation e-learning programme

• This is an interactive flu immunisation e-learning programme, written by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA), and produced by Health Education England’s e-Learning for Healthcare (an external provider). It is available for anyone involved in delivering the flu immunisation programme. UKHSA has supplied all of the materials needed for the 2026 to 2027 season and we expect this to go live in the coming days. When they do go live, it will navigable from the 2026 to 2027 annual flu collection. Training for flu vaccinators should be undertaken in line with the recommendations made in the National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Vaccination Training.

4. Flu vaccination programme 2026 to 2027: healthcare practitioners

• This resource is being finalised and will be published in the coming weeks under the 2026 to 2027 season on the annual flu collection.
